Understanding Your Target Customer
When we create and design a website, of course, we will think it can be attract clients, but actually we don’t really know who our customers are and what type of products they need, it is unlikely we make much money. One of the marketing expert, Daniel Neumeister said that we can expect a website for business is an extension for a standard storefront, or we can said a replacement.
After we have some opt-in list, we can send email to our existing clients or put some announcement on the web ask them to complete a survey while they are browsing on our websites. Ask them about their interest and choices, such as :
- Why do they like the products on that site?
- Is better to put some discount prices or monthly offer coupons ?
- Are our prices consistently lower than other ?
- About shipping price, mostly cheap or expensive at pricing and shipping page ?
- quality of the support to respond faster for customers question ?
- The return policies and quarantines, is better than other site or competitor’s ?
We better know about our customer and their caracters, for customers detail we can check their credit card records or as a buying process when they purchase a product, ask customers to complete a contact form with name, address, age, et cetera, .
