One of the best ways to get this energy fast is to eat healthy carbs. I would like to emphasis on this one: HEALTHY CARBS. The best carbs to eat are whole grains. Make sure you don’t consume other stuff with high carbs volumes . You can eat one gram of protein for one pound of your personal body weight. I weigh 185 pounds so I do eat 185 grams of protein per day, as easy as that. What this will do for you is give you long lasting strength as well as enable your muscles to fix themselves quicker after your workouts and the strenuous exercises.

2. You Should Exercise! Now, you should do a jump schedule at least once every day
. The best time to work out is beyond doubt in the morning for about 30 minutes after breakfast. Do things like squats, lunges, calf raises, etc. When doing these exercises, focus on quick, explosive motions instead of the slow, powerlifting style. Strength + Quickness = Explosion! And this can really help you in your vertical jump efforts.

3. Dedication Here is so vital! The third and last point here is dedication. You have to get in the right mindset in order to see the results that you are hoping for This is the most difficult aspect of vertical jump training. You should not get discouraged if you don’t see any improvements for a while. Just stick with it! Keep on doing your thing the right way. If you are able to work past the plateau, you will be much further ahead than the people that quit when the work is too hard! Nothing god in life comes easy. There is so much pride in ducking a basketball, so improving your vertical jump is worth the time and efforts. Don’t loose sight of your objectives. If you do this, then you will no doubt jump higher.
