ICE Helps Rebuild New Orleans: Pile Drivers Series

Nearly four years after Hurricane Katrina, the rebuilding of New Orleans canals and levees are about 50% complete. The daunting scope of work presented to the Army Corps of Engineers is needed to repair the damage caused by Katrina. Rebuilding the canal structure of New Orleans is the largest design build project in the Corps history. The effort has been named Task Force Hope, which, when finished will have repaired or replaced 220 miles of levees and floodwalls,new floood gates and pumping stations at the mouthsof 3 outfall canals, and strengthening of exisitn walls and levees.
International Construction Company (I.C.E.) is an important part of this rebuilding effort and is proud to be at the forefront of Task Force Hope.
